Dishwasher
Position Overview:
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and committed to ensuring that all kitchen tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring it functions properly.
- Kitchen Maintenance:
- Ensure that kitchen floors, surfaces, and trash areas are clean and free of debris.
- Remove trash and recyclables from the kitchen and dining area, disposing of them properly.
- Equipment Storage:
- Organize and store cleaned dishes, utensils, and cookware in their designated areas.
- Report any damaged or broken equipment to the kitchen manager.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist with kitchen setup, food prep, or other tasks as needed by the kitchen staff.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience is required, but experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
