Job DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist, sterilizing and preparing instruments, taking patient x-rays, and performing other administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Must be bilingual, fluent in both ENGLISH AND SPANISH (SPANISH IS A MUST)
Days: Monday-Thursday, Saturdays(as needed)
8 hr shifts
Compensation based on experience, starting payrate $20 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Maintain patient records and update patient information.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Prepare patients for treatment.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Take and process X-rays.
- Provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures.
- Keep the dental office clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental assistant (1-2 years)
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
