In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information are key responsibilities. Position Details:Qualifications:

  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited program for registered professional nursing.
  • Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, adhering to all state board of nursing regulations.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Prolonged standing and walking are required during each shift.
    • Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to fulfill job duties.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in nursing is preferred.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
    • Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit, including but not limited to:
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
      • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
      • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
      • CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
      • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
      • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
      • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
      • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
      • C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
      • Other unit-specific certifications as necessary.
