Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary Title 1 school located in Bradenton, FL, within the School District of Manatee County. This contract role spans the current school year, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and concluding on May 29, 2026. The position supports a small caseload of approximately 40-50 students, ages ranging from preschool to elementary grade levels.

This school features specialized programs including an Autism unit, an Exceptional Student Education Preschool (EPK), and two Integrated Pre-Kindergarten classrooms with Voluntary Pre-K spots reserved for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The role requires a Florida SLP license at the masters level. Applications from candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered; however, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not being accepted at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services tailored to a diverse caseload including students with autism and special education needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and supervisory meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Ability to work effectively with a varied population of students, including those with special education needs.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
