Requirements and responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or industry related field is preferred
- 2-5 years prior heavy-civil estimating experience
- Ability to interpret plans and specifications
- Review bid documents to determine scope of work
- Procure subcontractor/supplier quotes, perform scope development and pricing comparisons
- Perform quantity takeoffs
- Determine means/methods, crews, and productions for pricing
- Generate a detailed estimate schedule
- Attend pre-bid, on-site, and estimate review meetings
