Job DescriptionDescriptionFII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Production Controller that will work as part of a team to assist in planning and controlling production related activities. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Supporting Quality Department in a manufacturing environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The Production Controller will keep track of all open work orders and WIP to ensure timely work order closure, as well as monitor production schedules and assist their department as needed.
Responsibilities

  • Schedules coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production.​
  • Reviews master production schedule work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines and equipment. ​
  • Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups. ​
  • Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced. ​
  • Confers with department supervisors to define progress of work to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments. ​
  • Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays. ​
  • Maintains inventory of materials parts needed to complete production. ​
  • May expedite material ​
  • May use computer system to track locate production units.
  • Other Duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management. Bachelors Preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in areas of supply chain (i.e. procurement) or manufacturing is required.
  • Above average capabilities with Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong regard for product safety and quality standards.
