Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General Ultrasound Imaging to provide high-quality diagnostic services at a respected medical facility in Cambridge, MA. This contract role offers a unique schedule primarily focused on weekend shifts, making it ideal for professionals looking for a defined workweek with potential for extra hours.

Schedule:

Friday: 11 PM 7 AM (8 hours)
Saturday: 3 PM 7 AM (16 hours)
Sunday: 3 PM 11 PM (8 hours)
Total: 32 hours per weekAdditional hours during the week may be available but are not guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Perform general ultrasound imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
Prepare and position patients according to protocol to ensure quality imaging.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to interpret images and support diagnosis.
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
Document findings and maintain patient records accurately.

Qualifications:

Certification in general ultrasound imaging (ARDMS or equivalent).
Proven experience in ultrasound imaging techniques.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Ability to work independently during overnight and weekend shifts.
