CTR Group is currently seeking Outside Machinists for a Shipyard in the San Diego, CA. Transitioning or former Navy members and current Reservists are also encouraged to apply for these positions. Seeking local personnel. 30 Positions Available!
Pay Range: $28-50/hour plus benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Capable of accomplishing the installation, maintenance, and repair of ship's propulsion and auxiliary systems including, but not limited to Steam, Gas Turbine, and Diesel propulsion systems, rudders and steering gear, elevators, and deck equipment without Supervision
· Capable of accomplishing the installation repair, and maintenance of ship's fluid systems which include pumps, compressors, purifiers, heat exchangers, actuators and valves without Supervision
· Analyze defects and adjusts or repairs electrical mechanical systems of outboard motors
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
· This position may require access to U.S. government or military sites
· As such, candidates must be eligible to obtain base access clearance, which includes passing a background check and presenting valid government-issued identification. Must be DBIDS-eligible.
