IBW Youth Evolution Support Services is dedicated to empowering youth in foster care and alternative living environments by providing consistent mentorship, support, and guidance. Our mission is to help young people build confidence, independence, and the life skills necessary to thrive.

Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Mentors to support foster children and youth living in group homes or foster home environments. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities

Provide mentorship and encouragement to youth in foster care.
Teach and reinforce essential life skills such as money management, budgeting, and daily living skills.
Encourage and support participation in sports, education, and extracurricular activities.
Maintain a daily activity log documenting interactions, progress, and needs.
Collaborate with foster families, group home staff, and other support professionals to ensure holistic care for each child.
Serve as a positive role model, promoting resilience, independence, and self-confidence.

Qualifications

  • ·Reliable transportation (required).
  • Communication skills written and verbal.
  • Understanding of conflict resolution
  • Flexible availability to accommodate youth needs.
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and activity logs.
  • Experience working with youth or in a mentorship role (preferred but not required).
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable youth in their personal and educational growth.
