Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks | Night Shift (3x11.5) | 34.5 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $3,480 Weekly Gross
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations
- Adhere to infection control and quality assurance protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of Maternal and Child experience required
- Minimum two (2) years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience required
- Minimum two (2) years of Conscious Sedation experience required
- Associate’s degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program required
- Active New York State RN License required
- Primary Source Verification from NYSED required
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- NRP certification required
