$15/hr - $17/hr (Based on experience)
Frederick Living, part of Garden Spot Communities, is located in Zieglerville, PA (Montgomery County). We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full spectrum of care from retirement living, personal care, licensed healthcare, rehabilitation services, respite to memory care services.
Job Title: Healthcare Activities Coordinator
Status: Full Time - Days (8:30 am - 4 pm)
Schedule: Hours and days vary, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Salary Range: Experienced based rate starting at $15/hr

As a Healthcare Activities Coordinator, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate resident life activities of resident choice for the Cedarwood unit
- Engage residents in creative, personalized programming based on the Montessori principles
- Complete and maintain resident activity documentation in Point Click Care including assessments, care plans, MDSes, activities on Caretracker, and progress notes
- Document resident council minutes
- Create monthly Cedarwood life enrichment calendar
- Facilitate small group programming in Cedarwood
- Setup and provide oversight of resident socials
- Provide one-to-one visits with residents
- Provide independent leisure resources for residents, as needed
- Participate in chart review and resident care conference
- Participate in the planning and coordinating of special family events with Cedarwood residents and staff
- Coordinate and provide oversight for resident trips and outings
- Work as a Life Enrichment team member providing coverage to community programming and back up to other program areas as needed
- Incorporate recommendations made by the Cedarwood NHA and Life Enrichment Manager regarding activity regulations
- Respond to resident call lights
- Attend all required in-services and training
- Participate in staff meetings
- Abide by the organization's code of conduct in the performance of their duties
- Perform other related duties as required

- An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents
- One year of full time experience within a long-term care setting
- CNA and life enrichment experience preferred
