Job DescriptionPosition Overview LHH is seeking a Loan Officer for our client. The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) provides comprehensive support to one or more Loan Originators throughout the loan file production and submission process. This role focuses on delivering exceptional experience to borrowers and referral partners while ensuring loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant with Key Express submission requirements. By managing day?to?day loan file support, the LOA allows Loan Originators to focus on business development, relationship building, and growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate loan applications by auditing, reviewing, and validating data to ensure consistency with supporting documentation
  • Communicate with Loan Processors to obtain and clear conditions throughout the loan process
  • Assist and guide clients through the mortgage pre?approval process with clear, professional communication
  • Review borrower documentation to determine outstanding requirements and next steps
  • Track outstanding conditions and documentation on all loan files and follow up with borrowers using the point?of?sale system (Glyde)
  • Run Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS) and notify the Loan Officer when files are ready for review and pre?approval
  • Understand and calculate borrower qualifying income based on various income sources
  • Analyze credit reports to identify liabilities, potential issues, and risk factors

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of loan processing or loan origination experience
  • Experience with conventional and government loan programs
  • Proficiency with Encompass
  • Must have an MLS number

Pay/Benefits:

  • Pay: $45,000 - $65,000

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria

Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
