Our client, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization, is seeking a temporary Sr. Administrative Assistant to support senior leadership within the Office of the President. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, highly organized administrative professional who thrives in a fast paced, mission driven environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, conferences, calls, and travel
* Screen and route incoming calls; take messages and return calls as needed
* Log and distribute checks directed to executive leadership
* Prepare and process expense reports; ensure timely reimbursement
* Draft correspondence, letters, and documents; research and route information as needed
* Review records, forms, and reports for accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
* Serve as a liaison for visitors and callers; greet guests and direct inquiries appropriately
* Maintain confidentiality and professionally represent the Office of the President
* Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and coordinate equipment maintenance
About You
* High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
* 5-7+ years of experience supporting an executive office (non negotiable)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across the organization
* Proven discretion when handling confidential information
* Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively
* Comfortable using technology and adapting to new systems
About the Position
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: 6 months (potential to convert to permanent)
* Hourly Pay: $33-$38/hr
* Schedule: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (35 hour work week)
* Work Environment: Hybrid on-site 4x per week (metro accessible)
