Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist (Direct Placement)
Job Description
As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision CNC Swiss machines, including L20 models. You will handle the entire process from operation and setups to tooling changes, editing programs, loading programs, and troubleshooting. Your role will involve managing medium to high production runs for medical parts, ensuring quality and precision.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss and L20 machines.
- Manage the full machining process including operation, setups, tooling changes, program editing, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct medium to high production runs for medical parts.
- Inspect parts using a variety of precision instruments such as microscopes, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, and calipers.
- Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Read and comprehend layouts, job travelers, and blueprints.
- Ensure adherence to written manufacturing processes and procedures.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of CNC setup Swiss operating experience.
- Proficiency in operating CNC Swiss or L20 machines.
- Familiarity with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of machining processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mathematics experience with shop math.
- Proficiency in using various measuring tools.
- Experience with numerical control and CNC Swiss operations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Circle Pines, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $40.00/hr.
