If you’re a pharmacist who thrives in a hands-on leadership role, values high-quality customized medications, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, mission-focused team, this position offers the chance to truly shine.

What You’ll Do

As our PIC, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a top-tier compounding operation. You will:

  • Lead pharmacy operations with full responsibility for compliance, quality, and safety.
  • Oversee and participate in preparing high-quality non-sterile compounded medications.
  • Ensure strict adherence to USP <795> and USP <800> standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor QA programs, training, documentation, audits, and equipment upkeep.
  • Maintain strong safety protocols, including PPE use and hazardous drug handling.
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Mentor and support technicians and staff for optimal workflow and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with clinicians, providers, and patients to support exceptional medication therapy outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot, innovate, and think creatively to deliver outstanding compounding solutions.
  • Bring adaptability, problem-solving, and a can-do attitude to daily operations.

What You Bring:

  • PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active (or eligible) Montana pharmacist license.
  • Experience in non-sterile compounding, including hazardous drug handling.
  • Strong working knowledge of USP <795> and <800>.
  • Leadership experience or prior PIC role strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
  • A self-driven mindset, Montana-style work ethic, and a positive, collaborative approach.
  • A desire to manage the compounding pharmacy as if it were your own—with full support from our team.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in compounding or specialty pharmacy settings.
  • Familiarity with PK compounding software and QA systems.
  • Proven training, coaching, and supervisory strengths.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • Competitive salary (DOE)
  • Health, dental & vision insurance
  • PTO + 7 paid holidays
  • Retirement plan with contributions
  • Short- and long-term disability
  • Life insurance
  • Professional development & continuing education support
  • Supportive, team-centered culture
  • Brand-new, fully equipped compounding facility
  • Flexible scheduling (4×10s, 5×8s, or somewhere in between)
  • Weekends off
  • Opportunities to shape workflows, innovate, and grow the business
