A Pediatric Registered Nurse with at least one year of travel experience is sought for a dynamic role supporting pediatric acute care units. This contract position is based in Lees Summit, MO, offering day shifts with a unique floating opportunity within similar pediatric specialties on the same campus. Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric patients across multiple units within the facility
- Float between various pediatrics and pediatric med-surg units while working exclusively within your acuity specialty
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care and positive patient outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date licenses and certifications, ensuring readiness to work in both Missouri and potentially Kansas settings
- Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and best nursing practices
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Missouri; Kansas licensure preferred or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year travel nursing experience, specifically in pediatrics or pediatric med-surg
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Clean and active status on Nursys verification
- Flexibility and adaptability to floating assignments between similar inpatient pediatric units
- Strong communication and clinical skills, with a commitment to patient care excellence
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 AM 07:00 PM)
- Local candidates welcome; same pay rate applies locally and for floating assignments
