Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, onsite position in Norfolk, VA offers an opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within an elementary school setting. The role involves providing specialized speech and language support to students, helping enhance their communication skills and academic success.
Key responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and monitoring student progress. The caseload will primarily consist of elementary school students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Virginia license as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create effective, student-focused therapy plans
