About the Role:
The Warehouse Packer plays a critical role in ensuring that products are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment to customers or retail locations. This position involves carefully packing items according to company standards to prevent damage during transit, thereby maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Packer collaborates closely with inventory and shipping teams to meet daily packing quotas and deadlines, contributing to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role requires verifying product counts, inspecting items for defects, and labeling packages correctly. Ultimately, the Warehouse Packer helps uphold the company’s reputation by ensuring that every order is complete, secure, and ready for timely delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic reading and math skills to understand packing instructions and count items.
- Capability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds safely.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Select and pack products according to order specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing to ensure only quality products are shipped.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and handle documentation as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily packing and shipping deadlines.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or packing issues to supervisors promptly.
Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM
OT and weekend as needed, mandatory during Q4 (Oct-Jan)
