We are a well-established neighborhood coffee shop and creperie located in the heart of South Nashville. We take pride in serving fresh, scratch-made breakfast items alongside expertly crafted coffee and are looking for team members who thrive in fast-paced environments, care deeply about people, and believe hospitality is about connection and community.
As Red Bicycle continues to grow and promote from within, we’re seeking strong team players—whether your background is in coffee, restaurants, or another hospitality setting—who are ready to step into a multi-faceted role and help us Brew a Better World.
What You’ll Do
As a Barista, you’ll be at the heart of our café, ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering warm, welcoming service and building genuine guest relationships
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages
- Supporting food preparation, plating, and expo during peak hours
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Following food safety, quality, and cash-handling standards
- Taking initiative, communicating clearly, and supporting your teammates
- Upholding Red Bicycle’s culture of hospitality, integrity, and community
What We’re Looking For
While prior hospitality experience is preferred, it is not required. We’re happy to train the right person who is eager to learn and passionate about coffee and customer service.
Here’s what will make you a great fit:
- Any hospitality and/or customer service experience (coffee, restaurant, or high-volume service preferred)
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A positive attitude and a genuine love for interacting with people
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (required)
