As a Float Pool Nurse at our organization, you will deliver comprehensive patient care across various hospital departments, applying best nursing practices and adhering to our Nursing Professional Practice Model. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in acute care nursing along with the necessary licensure. You will have the chance to enhance your professional skills while enjoying a range of generous benefits. This role allows you to gain diverse clinical exposure by working in specialty areas such as ICU, Emergency Department, and Medical/Surgical units.

Utilizing our Nursing Professional Practice Model and the nursing process, you will provide exceptional patient care. You will be accountable for the care of your assigned patients and will coordinate their treatment in collaboration with other departments. Upholding patient rights and maintaining confidentiality is essential. You will operate within the scope of your nursing training and in accordance with established nursing guidelines, the objectives of our health system, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. About Our Float Pool:

Potential Units for Floating:
- Orthopedics, Medical/Surgical, Medical Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown
- Medical/Surgical/Cardiac Stepdown

Float Pool Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of acute care RN experience (with 6 months within the last year)
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution (BSN preferred)
- Licensure: Valid RN license in Missouri
- Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
