Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule & Shift Details:
- Day Shift
- 5 × 8-hour shifts per week
- 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Flexible start time available (06:00 AM – 06:00 PM, based on manager approval)
- Floating required
- Orientation: 40 hours (Non-billable)
Job Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Registered Dietitian to support adult acute care patients in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical nutrition expertise, including enteral and parenteral nutrition management, and experience working with EMR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for adult inpatient population
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
- Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition, including order writing
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR system
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 8–10 patients
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and nutrition guidelines
- Float between facilities as required
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
- Active Washington State Dietitian license required
- Recent inpatient acute care experience (within last 6 months) required
- Strong experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to manage caseload independently
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
