Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team and make a significant impact on our event planning and execution processes. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a variety of events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and community gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a wide variety of events, including corporate retreats, conferences, and community events.
- Coordinate with clients to determine their event vision, objectives, and budget.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and venues to secure services and facilities at competitive rates.
- Develop event timelines and ensure all details are executed on schedule.
- Manage event promotion and marketing strategies to maximize attendance.
- Oversee event logistics, including transportation, catering, audio-visual needs, and accommodations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or project management, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
