The Derry, NH Fire Department has immediate openings for Firefighter/Paramedics.
The annual base pay for Firefighter/Paramedics is $57,439 to $73,382, depending on experience, with the possibility of up to an additional 8% annually in proficiency pay. In addition to base pay, proficiency pay, and overtime opportunities, we offer an extensive benefits package which includes:

Our Fire Department is strongly supported by a vibrant community and responds to over 5000 Fire and EMS calls annually. We operate out of four stations with a daily shift staffing of 15 firefighter/EMTs and firefighter/paramedics. Line personnel work a shift schedule of 24 hours on duty, and 72 hours off. All operations personnel are dual-role cross-trained; staffing an ALS ambulance, a Paramedic Engine, and/or a Truck Company. We pride ourselves on a bottom-up management style that encourages firefighters to become leaders and decision makers in all aspects of the fire department including emergency medicine, technical rescue, emergency management, continuous quality improvement, training, and safety.
