Job DescriptionElectrical Engineer We are a pioneer in the Home Innovations sector, having been established more than ten years ago. Our product line has expanded to include other patented, simple-to-install home improvement items, including motion sensor lights, emergency backup lighting, smart device docks, integrated outlet safety covers, child safety locks, retrofitted interior door locks, and more, after we first introduced the world to LED cover plates more than ten years ago.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both analog and digital electronics, as well as experience with hardware design and compliance with regulatory standards such as NEC, FCC, and UL.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical circuits and systems
- Conduct testing and validation of prototypes and products
- Ensure compliance with NEC, FCC, and UL standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing products
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Familiarity with hardware design processes
- Experience with NEC, FCC, and UL compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
