Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position at a Level 1 facility, requiring CVICU/CSICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Works in a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a Level 1 facility
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 12 months of CVICU or CSICU experience at a Level 1 facility required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Must have graduated from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE accredited); diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted
- BSN preferred
- Must not have been employed by this health system within the previous 12 months
- 2 professional references at the supervisor level or above required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides intensive care nursing to post-cardiac surgery patients
- Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests must be submitted in advance
