Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An elementary school in Keene, New Hampshire, seeks a Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom. This contract position offers an opportunity to work 35 hours per week from 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m., starting as soon as possible through June 16, 2026.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students in a self-contained special education classroom
- Collaborate with staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's needs
- Communicate effectively with families and other educators
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Experience working within an elementary school setting
- Ability to manage and develop instruction in a self-contained classroom
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering the academic and social growth of students
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
- 35 hours per week
