Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Designer/Technician to join our team. This role is essential in designing and implementing advanced building automation systems that enhance energy efficiency and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building automation design and a solid understanding of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement building automation systems to optimize energy usage and occupant comfort.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop specifications and drawings for automation systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for building automation systems during installation and commissioning.
- Program and configure building automation components, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve building automation designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation design and implementation.
- Proficiency in building automation systems design and HVAC control systems.
- Familiarity with Tridium N4, BACnet, Modbus, IP, and LON communication protocols is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in automation software and hardware setup.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
