Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Iowa, requiring 36 months of recent ED experience and active IA or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position based in an Emergency Department with both adult and pediatric patient populations
- Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Requires floating to all campuses within relevant skillset and contracted unit
- No on-call requirements
- Works every third weekend and participates in a holiday rotation if scheduled
- Primary EMR used is Epic; prior Epic experience preferred
- May be required to work at multiple campuses depending on needs
- Must participate in a holiday rotation as assigned
- First-time travelers are accepted if all experience requirements are met
- One recent supervisory or charge reference within the past 24 months is preferred
- Professional dress code required

- Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 36 months of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Experience caring for both pediatric and adult patients required
- Experience managing behavioral health patients highly preferred
- Experience with drips including sedations and vasoactive medications required
- Ability to read, measure, and interpret tele strips required
- Certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC
- Driver’s License required for consideration
