Accountant – Bell Gardens, CA
Location: Bell Gardens, CA
Schedule: Full-time
Experience Level: Mid to Senior (No entry level)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Bell Gardens. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing financial tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Handle A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Process payroll entries and support month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting/forecasting
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Work directly with management to support financial decision-making
- Utilize QuickBooks for all bookkeeping and reporting tasks
- Use Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) to analyze data and prepare reports
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounting experience (MID–SENIOR level only)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory)
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a small–mid sized business environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
