Traveling Houseman / Public Area Attendant – Summer Opportunity
Assignment: Summer Seasonal (Travel to New Jersey Required)
Position Overview
We are seeking Traveling Houseman / Public Area Attendants to support hotel operations in New Jersey during the summer season. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and organized public spaces and supporting housekeeping and laundry operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public areas (lobby, hallways, restrooms, gym, restaurant, offices)
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces
  • Remove trash and keep hotel entrances clean
  • Clean carpets, furniture, elevators, and high-touch areas
  • Collect, wash, dry, and restock linens
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
  • Assist Room Attendants as needed

Requirements

  • 6+ months of housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
