Position Overview

A large, patient-centered acute care hospital in Central Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is ideal for both experienced technologists and new graduates, offering the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with trauma and comprehensive stroke services.

Available Shifts

Exact hours will be discussed during the interview process

• Day Shift – Rotating weekends

• Night Shift – Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic X-rays as ordered by providers while adhering to radiation safety standards (ALARA)

• Prepare, transmit, and archive imaging studies for radiologist interpretation

• Room patients, obtain and record vital signs, and collect patient history

• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation

• Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and ensure adequate supply inventory

• Transport patients safely as needed throughout the facility

• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care in a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications

• No prior experience required – new graduates are welcome

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• ARRT certification – required

• Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license – required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required within 30 days of start
