Returns Processor – Warehouse Operations

Position: Returns Processor
Experience Required: Minimum 6 months warehouse experience with exposure to returns
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Returns Processor is responsible for handling, inspecting, and documenting returned merchandise within a warehouse environment. This role ensures all returned items are accurately processed, recorded, and routed according to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process returned products following established guidelines
  • Identify product condition and determine appropriate disposition (restock, repair, disposal, etc.)
  • Perform data entry and update inventory records using warehouse systems
  • Use computers, scanners, and related equipment to document return status
  • Sort, label, and organize returned items for the next step in the workflow
  • Maintain accuracy and productivity standards within the returns department
  • Keep workstations clean, safe, and organized
  • Assist with general warehouse support as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months warehouse or returns processing experience
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and return workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift regularly in a warehouse setting
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems
  • Prior returns, inventory, or quality inspection experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
