Job DescriptionLHH is seeking an eager and detail-focused Accountant to join our client's team located in the heart of downtown Columbus. This role is a great match for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build experience in a hands-on accounting environment. The selected candidate will support core financial functions, help maintain accurate records, and contribute to ongoing department initiatives. Responsibilities
- Support the creation of financial statements and internal reporting
- Enter, verify, and organize financial data to maintain accurate records
- Reconcile bank activity and review general ledger accounts
- Assist with monthly and annual closing tasks
- Participate in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Track material costs and investigate variances
- Maintain accurate pricing information within the accounting system
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Internship experience or one year of professional experience in accounting or finance
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational ability
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables and vlookups)
- Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to team objectives
Pay Details: $53,000.00 to $63,000.00 per year
