We are seeking a highly skilled Access Management Specialist responsible for:
- Managing a high volume of DD2875s, creating user accounts, creating/maintaining passwords, SOPs, TTPs, and Memos.
- Controlling physical access to classified network devices and communication systems for DoD customers.
- Taking appropriate action, as necessary, to ensure proper handling of classified material in order to mitigate any possibility of breaches in security, policy, or procedures.
- Filling the role of the Security Coordinator, as directed by NETCOM.
- Supporting Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Information Security, Operations Security and/or Physical Security aspects.
- Supporting initiatives regarding the Operational Security (OPSEC) program to support annual reviews, address deficiencies, and support future initiatives.
- Working with DISS to address incoming personnel clearance status, visit access requests (VAR), and verify visiting personnel clearance status.
- Managing DoD 8140/8570.01 requirements for certification.
- Updating and maintaining safe combos, door ciphers, X09/X10 PIN, and ICID/PIC codes.
- Understanding and supporting the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) model for all Civilian, Military, and Contract personnel.
- Supporting required organizational inspections (CCRI, CSSP, SCA-V, etc.), where physical and traditional security is evaluated.
- Monitoring incidents and service requests using AESMP and providing the requested support within established Service Level Targets (SLT).
- Effectively managing time and effort to ensure on-time completion of all assigned tasks. Supporting special projects as needed to achieve organizational goals and/or mission objectives.
- Assisting in maintaining and developing team documentation, guidelines, and processes (TTPs, SOPs, Checklists).
Required Skills:
- HS diploma + 4 years of customer service experience.
- IAT II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, SSCP) required.
- Physical Security (PSY) certification required within 180 days.
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim.
- Flexible scheduling; available to work afterhours, weekends, and holidays.
- Occasional travel may be required for work or training purposes.
- Must support on-call duties, as needed.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to process and diagnose information assurance and security-related issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to walk long distances.
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication, including grammar.
- Ability to remain focused and alert during work hours.
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and operate multiple computers.
- Able to lift 15+ pounds.
- Quick learner with the ability to retain routine tasks.
- Strong organizational, business correspondence, and self-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Army Regulations driving installation documentation.
- Expertise in Document Management Systems.
- Experience with or strong knowledge of working with the Registration Authority.
- Visionary and strong problem-solving skills.
Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged sitting or standing at a desk using a computer.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
