Salary Range: $100,000 – $151,000 (dependent on experience, education, and organizational pay guidelines)
Are you a committed Physician Assistant eager to deliver exceptional, compassionate care to those who have served our country? Our organization in Sioux Falls, SD is excited to welcome you to our Primary Care Service Line team.
Working under the guidance of a supervising physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care to Veterans in various clinical environments. Your role will encompass conducting evaluations, managing treatments, educating patients, and coordinating care, all of which will significantly improve the lives of those who have made sacrifices for our freedom.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Your Responsibilities

Perform patient histories, examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for both new and returning visits.

Manage laboratory orders, interpret results, and modify care plans as necessary.

Initiate and oversee medication management, conduct EKGs, and suggest suitable follow-up actions.

Document patient interactions using the SOAP format and ensure adherence to all Clinical Reminders.

Facilitate patient access through in-person, group, phone, and secure messaging consultations.

Coordinate care among specialty services, surgical teams, mental health, extended care/rehabilitation, and community resources.

Contribute to achieving excellence in patient outcomes, access, quality, and productivity while being conscious of resource use.
