Position Overview: The Sales Director is a network infrastructure expert and is responsible for driving revenue and growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives within the broadband spectrum including hyperscale, infrastructure, and large carrier space. This role involves conducting market research, developing tailored sales strategies, and managing client relationships to ensure contract fulfillment and customer satisfaction. They will collaborate closely with the Network Engineer to align technical offerings with client needs, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.

Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with Arcadian’s goals and objectives. This includes creating and executing comprehensive plans to identify and attract new customers in the hyperscale, large carrier, dark fiber and wireless backhaul business platforms.
- Manage a team of business development managers to develop and expand sales skills and output for the organization.
- Negotiate master service agreements and large Telecom network services or dark fiber contracts.
- Build and develop new relationships with potential customers and client bases specific to the network infrastructure and broadband environment.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and external and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain existing customer base and partner across teams to develop clear customer service strategies for each assigned account.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer network planning, annual budgeting, and project approval processes.
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals within assigned accounts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and network engineering, to align sales strategies with business objectives and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Continue to monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to the telecommunications industry to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A minimum of six years working with large telecom network, infrastructure or broadband sales or similar is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar is required.
- Previous experience leading teams in a sales role required.
- Experience presenting data specific to Telecommunications to senior leadership teams is required.
- The ability to understand the sales pipeline, trends, and potential risks required.
- Experience with contract management systems is required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a portfolio of large carrier clients.
- Strong problem-solving, influencing, and collaboration skills.
- General system knowledge in Internet Software, Spreadsheet Software (Excel), Word Processing Software (Word), Electronic Mail Software (Outlook), and presentation software (PowerPoint).
