About the Role
As a Conformal Coating Operator, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the performance and durability of electronic assemblies by applying protective coatings. Whether working by hand or operating state-of-the-art PVA machines, your precision and focus will help deliver flawless results on cutting-edge technology used in vital industries.
Key Responsibilities

Operate hand spray and PVA machines to apply conformal or silicone coatings to electronic assemblies

Prepare materials, mask components, mix coatings, and follow detailed blueprints and work instructions

Inspect finished assemblies using black lights, perform touch-ups, and ensure coatings meet all quality standards

Support potting processes using specialized Asymtec equipment

Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow all safety and preventive maintenance procedures

Communicate effectively with Leads, Supervisors, and Engineers to align priorities and troubleshoot issues

Assist team members and adapt to various roles across manufacturing as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or similar hands-on production role
-
Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and measurement tools

Comfortable working with chemicals and using a respirator (must pass medical and fit testing)

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail
-
Visual acuity of 20/20 (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to pass color vision test
Preferred:
-
IPC-610 Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience with PVA coating equipment or similar machinery

Background in electronics assembly or aerospace/medical device manufacturing
