Job Description

Administrative Assistant — Lightbridge Academy

About Us At Lightbridge Academy, we are "The Solution for Working Families" — a high-quality early childhood education center where laughter, learning, and "a-ha moments" fill every day. Built on our Circle of Care, our nurturing culture isn't just for the children in our care — it extends to every family and team member in our community. Behind every great center is a great administrator, and we're looking for an experienced, organized, people-first leader to help keep ours running beautifully.

The Opportunity As our Administrative Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of the center — the person families turn to, teachers rely on, and the director trusts to keep everything moving. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on organization, loves working with families, and takes pride in a well-run center. We're expanding rapidly, so this role carries strong growth potential for the right person ready to grow with us. Full-time position.

What You'll Do

  • Manage enrollment, tour prospective families, and serve as a warm first point of contact
  • Respond to parent and prospective-parent inquiries by phone and email with kindness and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate student files, including health and immunization records
  • Monitor and maintain proper classroom ratios
  • Coordinate smooth student transitions into new classrooms
  • Oversee medication tracking and lead safety drills
  • Support the center's social media, website, and online presence
  • Assist the director with hiring, scheduling, billing support, and other operational duties
  • Help foster a positive, supportive culture for staff and families alike

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience as an Assistant Director, Administrator, Office Manager, or similar administrative role in a licensed childcare center or preschool (required)
  • Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Warm, professional manner with families and staff
  • Comfort with technology, recordkeeping, and digital tools
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred but not required
  • Teaching or classroom experience in a licensed setting is a plus

Does This Describe You?

  • You're the person who keeps everything (and everyone) on track
  • You greet every family like they belong here
  • You have an "I've got this" attitude
  • You stay calm, kind, and organized even on the busy days
  • You take pride in a center that runs smoothly

What We Offer

  • Competitive annual salary ($42,000–$52,000, based on experience)
  • Strong growth potential as we expand rapidly
  • Health insurance and health savings account
  • 401(k) and retirement plan with matching
  • Generous paid time off, parental leave, and sick days
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional development
  • Paid certifications (including CPR/First Aid)
  • Clear career advancement path
  • Employee mentoring with hands-on training and support
  • Employee assistance program
  • Childcare discount for your own family
  • Referral program and bonus incentives
  • A safe, healthy environment with an advanced air purification system

Apply Today If you're an experienced childcare administrator who loves keeping things organized and families cared for, we'd love to meet you. As we grow, so can you.
