This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years in ICU nursing, looking to apply critical care expertise in a mixed medical ICU setting. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with medical, trauma, neurosurgical, cardiac, and stroke conditions. Nurses will manage a 2:1 patient ratio in the ICU, with occasional floating to cardiac and stroke units at a 3:1 ratio.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Ability to float between ICU, cardiac, and stroke units, as needed
- Ability to comply with call-off policies and flexible scheduling demands
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
- Navy blue scrub colors required
- TCAR (Transcranial Doppler) certification required prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric ICU patients with diverse critical care needs
- Manage patient loads at a 2:1 ratio in ICU and up to 3:1 in float units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient assessments, interventions, and care planning
- Monitor patients using remote and bedside telemetry
- Comply with facility policies including internal call-off scheduling
- Float to designated regional medical facilities and units as needed with advance notice
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Biweekly start dates
Job Type:
- Contract assignment, 13 weeks duration
