Assistant Director of Nursing (Home Health Care)

Full-Time | Home Health

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced RN leader to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing in our home health agency. This role is perfect for a compassionate, organized clinician with a strong background in home care, pediatric and intermittent cases, and a passion for clinical excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily clinical operations and supervise Nursing Supervisors, Patient Care Coordinators, and field staff
• Conduct home visits and ensure quality of care aligns with Medicare and JCAHO standards
• Lead staff training, orientation, and ongoing education
• Chair the Quality Assurance Committee and drive performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations
• Collaborate with leadership on patient safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness
• Act as CLIA Director and participate in on-call rotations

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
• 2+ years of experience in home health nursing
• 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Medicare CoPs, QA/QI programs, and EMR systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical assessment skills

• Experience with pediatric and intermittent care
• Familiarity with CLIA, OSHA, and JCAHO standards
