Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Compensation

  • Travel: Up to $76/hr including stipend (Approx. $1,710/week based on experience)

  • Local: Up to $65/hr (Approx. $1,462.50/week)

Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 22.5

  • Shift: 7.5 Hours per Day (3 Days per Week)

  • Schedule: Flexible shifts depending on department needs

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, accurate diagnostic imaging, and adherence to radiation safety standards within a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Adjust kV and mA techniques to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.

  • Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment.

  • Administer contrast materials when required in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate patient imaging records and electronic documentation for radiologist interpretation.

  • Follow department documentation procedures including logs and charge capture.

  • Identify and report equipment issues while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Perform quality assurance and radiation safety procedures following ALARA principles.

  • Monitor patient condition before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • New York State License (L.R.T.) as a Radiologic Technologist.

  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
