Compensation

Travel: Up to $76/hr including stipend (Approx. $1,710/week based on experience)

Local: Up to $65/hr (Approx. $1,462.50/week)
Schedule

Hours per Week: 22.5

Shift: 7.5 Hours per Day (3 Days per Week)

Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, accurate diagnostic imaging, and adherence to radiation safety standards within a clinical environment.
Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Adjust kV and mA techniques to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.

Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment.

Administer contrast materials when required in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate patient imaging records and electronic documentation for radiologist interpretation.

Follow department documentation procedures including logs and charge capture.

Identify and report equipment issues while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Perform quality assurance and radiation safety procedures following ALARA principles.

Monitor patient condition before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

New York State License (L.R.T.) as a Radiologic Technologist.

ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT.
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
