Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a day shift contract at a children's specialty hospital in Mountainside, NJ.
Details
- Pediatric respiratory therapy unit at a children's specialty hospital
- Patient population includes infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
- Ventilator management is a core component of the role
- Charting system: Epic
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- CRT or RRT credential required
- NBRC certification required
- BLS required
- Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Ventilator management experience required
- Active NJ or Compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two current references required for consideration
- Copy of certifications required for consideration
- NURSYS and state license verification required for consideration (if applicable)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being made
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Former employees of the RWJBH health system (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
