Product Specialist – Alternate Heating Products
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Product Specialist to support sales and service efforts across our alternative heating product lines. This role blends consultative sales, technical product support, and relationship management with customers, dealers, and installers. Help customers across the country heat their homes and businesses with high-efficiency wood and coal heating systems.
Alternate Heating Systems – Sales & Customer Support
- Manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries, assess customer needs, and recommend appropriate heating solutions.
- Close sales and guide customers through product selection, specifications, and purchasing decisions.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support before and after the sale.
- Conduct follow-up outreach with prospects and existing customers to strengthen relationships and drive repeat business.
- Process orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized CRM records for prospects, customers, dealers, and installers.
Legacy Stoves – Dealer Support
- Serve as Sales Representative for the Legacy Stoves product line.
- Maintain consistent communication with dealers to support product knowledge, sales efforts, and issue resolution.
- Ensure dealers have current marketing materials, product literature, and technical documentation.
Installer Network Development
- Identify and build relationships with qualified installers in key geographic markets.
- Maintain a vetted installer network to support product installations and enhance customer satisfaction.
This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys consultative selling, technical problem-solving, and building strong industry relationships within a growing specialty market.
Hours
Full-Time: 40 hours per week.
Hours may be distributed within the office and out in the field, as necessary.
Base + Commission + Bonus
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Industry Experience/Prior Knowledge of HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing
- 1-2 years of sales experience
- Solid communication skills & personable personality
