Packager
Norton Shores, MI, 1st Shift, $15 per hour
Job Summary
A growing company specializing in high-performance adhesives, sealants, and coatings is seeking a Packager to join their dynamic team in Grand Haven, MI! This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity in a clean and comfortable facility, with overtime as required.In this role, you will work as part of a production team preparing, packaging, and shipping products according to detailed work instructions while supporting daily operations through setup and cleanup tasks.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Packager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Filling tubes, containers, and drums with product
- Packing and preparing finished products for shipment
- Transferring adhesives and sealants from larger pots into smaller containers
- Cleaning larger pots using mineral spirits after product removal
- Ensuring workstations are properly cleaned and maintained
- Assisting with production setup and cleanup
- Reading and completing work orders accurately
- Participating in general facility cleaning
- Performing repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
What We’re Looking ForQualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Ability to read and follow work orders
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Previous forklift experience is highly preferred
