RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Three shifts per week (3x12 schedule)
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• Every other holiday required
\n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• General emergency department combined adult/pediatric setting experience required
\n• 2 years of experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
\n• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, MAB
\n• Skills required: Triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy
\n• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Cerner charting system experience preferred
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Handle approximately 115 visits per day in 27-room emergency department
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Must have either a compact license or Maryland license
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
\n• Two supervisor references required
