Position Summary
The Outside Sales Rep is responsible for driving revenue for crane and rigging rental equipment services. Will work with industrial customers within a defined territory, having a thorough understanding of client needs, providing accurate job estimating and strategically positioning company’s response to win the business.
Essential Responsibilities
- Increase revenue and market share in the local crane market.
- Establish new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and face-to-face meetings with targeted accounts.
- Conduct formal presentation of products and services to targeted accounts, as needed
- Coordinate with all branch departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare customer contracts and bids for jobs
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year exp in the crane industry preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years exp in sales and/or business development
- Prior knowledge of the local area commercial and/or industrial market, preferably in the crane industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
