This rewarding opportunity offers full-time positions for the entire school year, providing consistency and growth for both you and the students you serve. As a paraprofessional, your responsibilities will range from dedicated 1:1 student support to assisting as a classroom aide, adapting to the needs of the school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young adults, ideally in an educational or support role
- Previous paraprofessional or classroom-based experience preferred
- Ability to assist teachers and contribute positively to the learning environment
- Comfortable supporting students of varying ages and abilities (K-12)
- A genuine commitment to fostering student growth and well-being
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to daily changes
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individual students or small groups as directed
- Assist teachers with classroom management, instructional tasks, and daily routines
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Help implement individualized education plans when needed
- Offer attentive supervision and compassionate guidance throughout the school day
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
