Assistant Teacher (Floater) The Learning Experience Bristow
Location: Bristow, VA
Schedule: Part-Time, MondayFriday, 12:30 PM6:00 PM
Pay: $17$19 per hour

The Learning Experience Bristow is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher (Floater) to support classrooms across the center. This flexible, fast-paced role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children of different ages and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support in infant, toddler, and preschool environments as needed.
- Assist teachers with daily routines including transitions, activities, meals, and rest time.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines.
- Step into classrooms quickly and confidently as staffing needs change throughout the day.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred.
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable supporting multiple age groups.
- CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements.
