Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: New York, NY 10029
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

• Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week

Compensation

• Local Candidates: $1,500 – $2,000 per week

• Travel Candidates: $2,000 – $2,600 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care, imaging techniques, and operating specialized ultrasound equipment in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and explain procedures.

• Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging.

• Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate diagnostic images.

• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.

• Capture and document high-quality diagnostic images.

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience.

• Hands-on experience with VU Ultrasound System (required).

• Experience performing prostate ultrasound examinations (required).

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
