Director of Nursing (DON) – White Plains, NY
$200K–$250K | Full-Time | Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation
Are you an experienced RN leader ready to take the helm of a high-performing nursing team? Our White Plains skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations, drive quality care, and develop a stable, high-performing nursing team.
This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role where your decisions directly impact resident outcomes, regulatory excellence, and staff development.
What You’ll Do

Lead all nursing operations and oversee resident care with excellence

Supervise, mentor, and inspire RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
-
Maintain continuous “survey-ready” status and lead DOH/CMS audits

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans

Manage department budgets, resources, and QAPI initiatives to improve outcomes
What You Bring
-
Active, unencumbered NY RN license
-
5+ years in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care

2+ years in nursing leadership (DON or ADON preferred)
-
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams

Expertise in DOH/CMS regulations, MDS processes, and reimbursement
